Privacy in Our Journal

This notice explains how personal information relates to your use of trixunoventure.forum and any correspondence you choose to send.

Who is responsible

Trixunoventure Journal Ltd is responsible for personal information it processes for this journal. Our registered office is 16 Queen Square, Bristol, BS1 4NT, United Kingdom; company no. 15192748. For privacy questions or rights requests, email [email protected].

Reading the website

The journal is a static website. Its supplied scripts do not include analytics, advertising trackers, user accounts or a remote contact submission service. Hosting infrastructure may process technical request information such as IP addresses, request times, browser information and requested files to deliver pages, maintain reliability and investigate abuse. Such processing is limited to legitimate interests in running and protecting the website, subject to applicable law.

The local note tool

Text entered in the Contact page is used in your browser to construct a plain-text preview. The tool does not transmit your draft to us or save it to localStorage. Copying places text on your device’s clipboard when permitted; downloading creates a text file on your device. Your browser, device, clipboard history or downloaded-file backups may retain copies under your own settings. Clearing a field on the page does not erase those copies.

If you email us

If you separately send an email, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your name, address, message and attachments, together with normal email metadata. We use it to understand and respond to correspondence, investigate corrections, manage rights requests and maintain necessary business records. Our usual basis is our legitimate interest in operating the journal and responding to readers; legal obligations may apply to some records or requests.

Please do not send sensitive personal data, identity documents or unnecessary information about other people. We do not use reader correspondence for unsolicited marketing or sell personal information.

Service providers and disclosure

Hosting and email providers may process information on our behalf to provide their services. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or reasonably necessary to establish or defend legal claims. If personal information is transferred outside the United Kingdom, applicable transfer requirements and appropriate safeguards must be observed. Contact us if you need details relevant to your correspondence.

Retention and security

We retain correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed for its purpose, including follow-up, correction history and applicable legal obligations. We consider the nature of the enquiry and any unresolved issue rather than retaining every message indefinitely. Technical logs should be retained only as needed for operational and security purposes. No internet or email system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. Rights are not absolute; we may need proportionate information to verify a request and will explain any relevant limitation.

You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or to your relevant supervisory authority. You can contact us first, but you do not have to do so before contacting a regulator.

Following a source link takes you to an independent website with its own privacy practices. See Your Cookie Decisions for browser-storage information. We may update this notice when the website or its processing changes; the date above identifies this version.
